2 Chainz got love for the kids.  During the Chicago stop of his Good to Be T.R.U. Tour, the rapper made a surprise visit to that city's Tanner Elementary School where he stressed for students on the importance of finishing school.

In a four-minute video, which was posted on his YouTube page, the rapper nonchalantly enters the school's cafeteria and reveals his identity to the unsuspecting children, who welcomed the rapper with cheers and applause.

2 Chainz reminded the kids that they have a responsibility to educated themselves. "It's an honor to come before people like y'all," he says. "Y'all are really going to make the decisions for the future and for the next decade. It's on y'all."

The rapper then told the children to do whatever it takes to finish school and to never give up.

"Just finish school," he says. "Mind your business and do what you need to do to get to the next level. Don't worry about following nobody else, all you got to do is do your job and you'll be good. Trust me."

Before taking questions from the students, 2 Chainz left them with a takeaway message on following their dreams. "Always follow your dreams because they can definitely come true," he says. "I'm up here headlining my own tour, I'm making moves and taking care of people and that's something I never thought I could do in the sixth, seventh or eighth grade."

The rapper's 2 Good to Be T.R.U. Tour will hit Los Angeles, Houston, Las Vegas, Seattle and Miami, before wrapping up March 24 in Washington, D.C.
