I was in a horrible car accident 10 months ago on interstate 40. By Gods grace I fought to stay alive and save my 2moro yr old son that was trapped in his car seat. For the last 10 months I have been in hospitals for surgeries and rehab for me and my son, and have not left his side because we are all we have. I thank God, friends and family and all the prayers through this ongoing journey. I am a huge Mary J fan and I would love a night out to go to her concert. Money has been tight through all of this because I have to be prepared daily of added expenses so buying a ticket right now is not feasible.I would love to win tickets but if not I still want to thank everyone including the listeners for all of the prayers, God was truly listening...

I HAVE TO MEET MARY J. BLIGE because I absolutely LOVE Mary J. Blige. Her music has really helped me through some rough times in my life in relationships and other personal issues. She inspires so many women to be confident with themselves and accept how they look regardless of what society says. Mary J. Blige has come a long way in her life from some of her personal situations and has an awesome story to tell to others who may be experiencing the same thing.

I will never forget the time in "My Life" when I felt hopeless and as though no one understood or cared about what I was going through. Mary's song "My Life" truly inspired me and helped me to realize that I wasn't alone. I felt as though she was singing that song directly to me. I still listen to that song today and I can appreciate it more and more. To be able to meet the one person who has no clue how her words and her life inspired me would just confirm that everything I went through was worth it because of the wonderful life I am living today!

I can remember when her first album dropped back in 1992,   I was a Freshman in High School.  I have been grooving with Mary every since (20+ years).  She makes music that seems to fit every stage of my life.  It would be an honor to meet her and attend this concert.  Why should you pick me?

1.  I'm a huge Mary J. fan.  Her music inspires me.

2.  I'm a school teacher and I am spending my summer working underprivileged children in North Nashville.

3.  I really, really, really, really, love 92Q and Kenny Smooth!!!!!!  :)

Come on, Kenny!  Pick me!

Mary J. Blige to me has always been a very strong woman; not just in the eyes of black women, but in the eyes of ALL women! See, I am a 33 year old woman who was molested on my 13th birthday by my father until I was almost 16 years old. My parents were also hardcore christians & would not let us listen to the radio. Well, one day when they left the house I sneaked & grabbed the radio & guess what came on; 'My Life!' When I heard this song in the roughest patch of my teenage life I knew I could make it! And I just want to be able to tell Mary my story & tell her thank you for sharing hers through song & letting me know that I will be just fine.

Mary J  Blige is a TRUE R&B DIVA!!!!!!!!! My husband and I NEED a date night, meeting and seeing Mary J Blige would be a beyond AWESOME date!!!!!!!!!     P.S we would have bought tickets, but being real we can't afford them. We have twins girls 17 (that are in their senior yr of high school), a son 11, and a 3 year old girl, so ANY extra money we have goes to them. Pick me please so I can meet an amazing woman, and spend time with my husband.
