- The lack of available serious cultured men. I like to read and write and would hopefully like to have a mate that would be interested in participating in outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, canoeing. There does not seem to be any place to really meet people other than club/party type atmospheres. I never meet anyone at a place like a borders type atmosphere.
