Radio shack wireless thermometer instructions

i have a Radio Shack wireless remote thermometer. The "remote" says "thermo sensor" on the top of it. There data screen is blank and nothing shows up on the base unit. I have depressed the "reset" button on the remote unit. The main unit shows the inside temp just fine.
