Select Instant flow. Give your flow a name in the Flow name > Manually trigger a flow > Create. Select the Trigger a new build in VSO template from the list of templates. Select the Use this template button on the Trigger a new build in VSO page. If you aren't signed in, you'll be prompted to do so at this point: Build an instant cloud flow to trigger manually - Test. Click on the Create button. Create an instant cloud flow to trigger manually. In the next screen, we can see the flow designer screen with the "Manually trigger a flow" action. Manually trigger a flow - Next Step. Click on the "+ Next step". Select "Create Item" SharePoint Now start the flow and keep it in start mode. The flow will stop at the first step 'Wait for Process' Only when the scheduler will start the process, the flow will move ahead. The process will execute and the loop index will come back to the 'Wait for Process' step and will go further only when the scheduler is run next. Problem. When planning a SharePoint Workflow, sometimes you just need to let the user initiate it manually. But the standard interface is awkward. First the user must find the item dropdown, then select "Workflows", then (assuming they pick the right one). they must click on itand then click "Start". That's too many steps and leaves too much Select the "Create" tab. Since we are creating a manually triggered Flow select the "Instant Flow" under "Start from blank". Then in the wizard you will type the name of your Flow and press Skip because the trigger "When a Record is selected" isn't available from this menu. Now search for the "When a record is selected In addition to the above method you can also create a flow that runs from the business process flow. All you need to do is add a flow step to your Business Process Flow and you can run your flow from there. But the details on how to do flows from a model driven app in a Process Flow will be another post for another day. Like this: Loading First we will need to create the flow that is being started. This is required because we will need the HTTP POST URL of this flow in the flow that starts a Flow. This flow will receive an id and then start on that item. Create a flow with the trigger: When a HTTP request is recieved. Add the action Parse JSON. Add the Get Item (by ID). One way is by browsing to the Flow centre and creating the Flow. If you're logged into Dynamics 365, Flow be accessed from the top left by clicking the Office 365 app button, then selecting Flow. Select the "Create" tab. Since we are creating a manually triggered Flow select the "Instant Flow" under "Start from blank". Step 8: Run a child Flow. Now we will call the child flow inside the Parent flow, so click on the Next step and then select Run a child flow action. Then provide the child flow you have created, and provide the input to the child flow field. call a ms flow from another flow. Now our parent and child flow is ready, so now we can test the flow. Select New > Automation > Cloud flow > Instant. The Build an instant cloud flow screen appears. Give your flow a name so that you can easily identify it later. Select the Manually trigger a flow trigger. Select Create. Select Add an input . The input you define here will be passed to the child flow from the parent flow.
