Gateway ne51003h manual

For the gateway NE57003h how do you open the disk drive? There is no button (that I can find) and i have tried going into my computer and I cannot find the disk drive to manually eject it. This is a new computer for me and I am super annoyed already with it. I recently bought a nice Gateway NE72206u laptop and got a windows 7 install disk. In order to get it to work I had to partition all drives, and now when the setup is complete, it all boils down to the fact that all my importaint drivers are gone, including network, so I am not even able to access the internet.
