Do You Roll Out On Your Friends When You Meet A New Man???

DON'T DITCH YOUR FRIENDS WHEN YOU MEET A GUY!

 

We all know the type -- the girl who has no time for her friends when she meets a new guy. She'll spend every moment of her time with him -- at the expense of her friends. And then, of course, if things go bad and they breakup, she needs her friends again -- the same friends she had no time for before.

You should never ditch your friends for a guy. Here are a few reasons ...

  1. Friends won't break your heart.
  2. Who else can make you laugh until you pee your pants -- and not judge?
  3. They know what you're thinking by just a look.
  4. When you're emotional they don't yell and call you crazy; they listen and understand.
  5. You'll always have a dancing, shopping and gossiping partner.
  6. They know all your flaws and love you anyway.
  7. You can talk nonstop for 24 hours, and it's still not enough time.
  8. Getting ready to go out is a lot more fun when they're around. Sometimes so much fun, you don't even make it out.
  9. They understand it's the little things that matter.
  10. They take you back, no questions asked, when you realize your friends are indeed a lot more fun than your boyfriend.

I agree Mahogany. Life is a balance, and who says friend won't break your heart! I've had so-called friends talking trash about my man, then I find out they trying to get with him!

The difference is that Kenny said don't ditch your "FRIENDS!" The word can't be taken out of context unless we take it there. Some people use the word very lightly, but a true friend is totally different from an associate! As for the "Girls in MY Circle" we don't ditch each other like that just because one of us is in a relationship! FYI: There's room in your life for your girls and your man. The only difference is that your "friend role" changes and girl's night out may be once/month instead of every weekend and that's okay! If they are your "true friends" then they don't have a problem with it & everyone actually looks forward to the #3's--#6's--#8's and #9's above because they mean so much more. From my experiences, the times that you are away from your man make you appreciate him even more & it's good that you both keep the "friends in your circle" instead of just being around each other all of the time. Just like Drake says . . . "U want him to Miss U a Little when UR gone!" Your friend can only split up your relationship if you allow them to do so! On another note: if you are a woman who doesn't have at least 1 true friend (not a so-called friend) . . . maybe you should try to be one first--I'm just saying?? I love Jesus just as much or more than the next person, but I still enjoy kicking it w/my girls==and that's just keepin' it real! Kenny---for what it's worth, I think this is a cool blog!!

Definitely NOT!!! Most times the man does not last past the 90-day trial period. True freinds last a lifetime! Men come and go. Even when "Mr. Right" comes along you should still hold onto your friends. You just have to learn to keep things in perspective!

What about girls that are relatives? My sister has had three new men friends in 4 years and each time she does not have time for her sister until she is on the mend and with a new man in tow. But each time I have made time for her because she is my sister and I missed her when she was gone. So now I just wait for her to come back we that we can gossip and shop.
