Event Description

“More than a Broadway show. A celebration of music that transformed America!” – CBS Sunday Morning

It began as one man's story… became everyone's music… and is now Broadway's musical. Motown The Musical is the true American dream story of Motown founder Berry Gordy’s journey from featherweight boxer to the heavyweight music mogul who launched the careers of Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Smokey Robinson, and many more. Motown shattered barriers, shaped our lives and made us all move to the same beat. Featuring classic songs such as “My Girl” and “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” experience the story behind the music in the record-breaking smash hit Motown The Musical!

MOTOWN® IS A REGISTERED TRADEMARK OF UMG RECORDINGS, INC.

I would love to be able to take my Mom to this as an early birthday present. The Motown sound is still the best.

I have loved Motown music for my entire life. I even went to see the Temptations on my 25th birthday. I would love to see this musical. Especially during my birthday month.

My 23 year old son listens to this “new school” crap and call it music. I always tell him artists of today only remix and redo what has already been done but he thinks I’m just hating. I would love for him not to just hear but experience a little taste of what “REAL” music is and to show him how “old school” music created the foundation for many artists today. I can’t wait to see his face gazing in awe!!
