Event Description

It's time for the annual Citywide MLK March

The MLK March will be held on Monday, January 18, 2010. The march begins at 10:00 am from our location at 1112 Jefferson Street. We will begin gathering at 8:30 am for a time of fellowship. Please dress warmly and we invite each person to bring a friend.
The Day of Service will begin at Noon and end at 4:00 pm. The following volunteer locations have been secured:

· Second Harvest
· Pencil Foundation
· Feed the Children

Any one interested in volunteering will need to register by emailing communityoutreach@mtzionnashville.org by Wednesday, January 13, 2010.

Monday Jan 18th at the Jefferson Street Baptist Church. Join us for live music, speeches, poetry, praise dancers, and more. Then the entire city will march in unity to the TSU Gentry Center where they'll be vendors, VIP Speakers, community information, and other activities all in honor of the the late Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
