Tyler Perry is bringing his Madea character back to town for his latest stage presentation, "Madea’s Big Happy Family,” taking place February 24, 2010, at The Municipal Auditorium for a live performance.

The shows is at 8 p.m. February 24, 2010.

Tickets are $57-$67, on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the NMA box office outlets, www.ticketmaster.com, 800-745-3000.

Of the show, Perry says "There is nothing like a live performance and if you’ve never seen a Madea play, then you haven’t seen Madea at all. It’s been five years sicne I’ve been on the road and the timing just happened to fall right into place. I needed to get away from Hollywood for a second…clear my head. There is no better way to do that than to come out and see your faces and be reminded of where this all started.”

Perry based his popular Madea character on his mother, who died at the age of 64.

I will attend if I win...single mother of four, going to school and working. Assisting one daughter with College funding and have another daughter to assist in preparing for college next year...cant afford to purchase tickets. But I would love to be a winner !!!
